What is interview practice on Leap?▾
Thinking-out-loud practice for school interviews. Leap starts a conversation and your child responds in their own words — voice or typed — with follow-up questions that build on what they said. Afterwards you get candid, PIN-gated feedback; your child doesn't see it.
What are the three formats?▾
One-to-one interview with a friendly interviewer; passage response (read a short age-appropriate passage, then talk about it); and group discussion with two AI pupils so your child practises building on what others say.
Is their voice saved?▾
Leap listens only while the mic is on. Voice is never saved — only the words. There's also a typed answer option if you prefer.
Does this copy a specific school's interview?▾
No. Practice can be school-flavoured for schools that publish interview formats — recommended mode and tone notes only. Leap never claims to represent or be endorsed by any school.
Can they practise more than once?▾
Yes — start another session whenever you like. Each session is a short practice (up to 14 turns), with openings and passages rotated so they don't get the same start twice.
