General format summary
Two-stage entrance assessment. Stage 1: Cambridge Select Insight (formerly CEM Select) - a one-hour online non-adaptive test covering Comprehension, Missing Words, Numerical Ability (maths), Pictures (non-verbal reasoning), and Verbal Reasoning. Stage 2 (by invitation): Two written papers - English (45 minutes, comprehension and creative writing) and Mathematics (45 minutes, basic calculations and problem-solving), plus a taster lesson. Interviews follow for candidates who progress through Stage 2. This is the current route summary in Leap's accepted source model.
