General format summary
Two written papers sat on paper (not computer-based), set internally by the school. English (1 hour 15 minutes - 1 hour 20 minutes): reading comprehension section plus creative writing section, assessing inference, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, grammar, and originality. Maths (1 hour 15 minutes): problem-solving and arithmetic based on Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, covering number, algebra, shape and measures, data handling, fractions, ratios, percentages, and spatial reasoning. No Verbal or Non-Verbal Reasoning papers. This is the current route summary in Leap's accepted source model.
